A Literary Feast in October

The 7th annual Knowlton Literary Festival will take place between October 13th and October 17th. The authors include poets, film makers, crime writers, biographers, historians and children’s writers. There is something for all tastes. Among the writers, Alexandre Trudeau will be launching his new book, Barbarian Lost: Travels in the New China that will be published in September. More details can be found on the poster that is in this edition of Tempo. There will be writing workshops for adults and also for the students at Knowlton Academy. Venues include, the Community Centre, The Relais, Knowlton Academy, Brome Lake Books, the Church Hall at St Pauls.

The Book Launch of Book 3, The Timekeeper's Solution, of the Weaverworld Fantasy Trilogy by Julia K. Rohan will take place on Sunday October 30th between 5pm and 7pm at the "Le 290", next door to the Relais. Tickets are $25 per person or $40 per couple. Tickets include a copy of the new book plus a copy of the previous 2 books. There will be snacks, live music, a talk and a cash bar.
