A message from Louise Penny:
Since its birth, more than a decade ago, the Knowlton Literary Festival has attracted hundreds of great writers, from poets, to playwrights, from writers of fiction and non-fiction, crime fiction (Yes!!) and books for youth. Thousands have traveled to Quebec, to enjoy the beautiful setting and stimulating conversations. It is where geography and culture meet. I am so very pleased to once again be the Honorary Patron of this great festival, and to welcome you all to the place we choose to call home.
Brome Lake Books is the official bookstore of the Knowlton Literary Festival. They are located at:
45 Lakeside, Knowlton (Lac-Brome) QC | 450-242-2242 | www.bromelakebooks.ca
Elan (English Language Arts Network) is an official minority language organization within Canada, that recognizes two languages (English and French) as official.
They have a new initiative/survey to gather information regarding the English-language arts communities. Through this new initiative they aim to identify potential modes of collaboration across the cultural ecosystem, and to collect data regarding funding and everyday operations. By filling out this survey, you can help ELAN define the most appropriate tools and resources that our community needs today. Likewise, this data will substantially support our advocacy work for the community at the governmental level. The survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes of your time.
