Our 2023 Knowlton Literary Festival Event Calendar is starting to come together.

Here are our highlights to-date:


  • Our Calendar of Events will begin on October 12th in the evening at Brome Lake Books with a Local Authors Event.
  • The Festival's Wine & Cheese Reception will be on Friday evening at the Brome Lake Community Centre, which will also include a Spoken Word performance. For persons new to this literary genre, you will be delighted by an oral performance and lively storytelling.
  • We are thrilled that Roger Williams will be part of our 2023 Festival Program once again, providing insightful introductions to our Festival Authors.
  • Saturday schedule includes Canadian authors Zoe Whithall and Clayton Thomas-Müller in the early afternoon, followed by Canadian television journalist, Wendy Mesley, who will be hosting a Journalists Panel, interviewing Canadian journalist and author, Jacquie McNish and Canadian journalist, pundit and author, Paul Wells.
  • And wrapping up these year's Festival on Saturday evening we will have American crime writer, forensic anthropologist and academic, Kathy Reichs.
